We live in a world where the lines between work and personal life are more blurred than ever—especially after the pandemic. This is why it’s more important than ever to create clear boundaries.
Legit . I kind of have a window where I will respond to things, but not be “working”. However, there are times after hours and during weekends that are just “hard no” family time or literally “screens off and start making melatonin” time. When the sun sets, our bodies naturally start making melatonin. I love the OLLY stress gummies if I accidentally sucked at my stress hygiene that evening 😝
That’s such a great idea! I’ve been generally surprised how much effort it takes to find the clear boundaries for wfh arrangements, especially when self-employed. It’s tempting to have the “I can handle this right now” or “I can check on that real quick” mindset 24/7 - that part of our brain that’s always strategizing and trying to achieve- it’s pretty relentless! Yoga sounds awesome for that clear delineation. Hope you’re having a great week. Thanks for your thoughts! I appreciate you.
Ngl, I do struggle with completely switching off in the evenings. I won't sit down to actually work, but I will reply to messages. Maybe I need to stop? Lol.
Finding balance (and the right wfh outfit) can be tricky! I always end my workday with a yoga session and workout. After that, I'm in relaxation mode.
